Julie A. McCoy, CPA
CPA Firm Owner

After 25 successful years working for a certified public accounting firm, Julie decided to start her own CPA firm in 2012.  We serve a diversified client base of individuals and small business owners in providing tax, accounting, and computer services.  She assists small business owners in tax and business planning along with daily operations.  Her area of expertise includes individual and business income tax, software training, payroll and sales tax, consulting services encompass accounting and tax services for entrepreneurs and new business startups, among others.

Julie is a member of several organizations including American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Nebraska Society of Certified Public Accountants, and an active member of P.E.O – a philanthropic, educational organization.  She graduated from the University of Omaha and received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with distinction.  Julie passed the CPA exam in 1991.  She regularly attends seminars and conferences so that clients are up to date with their ever-changing accounting needs.

Julie is married with two children and loves spending time with her 2 grandchildren.

 

Karen L. Lindner
Office Administrator

Karen has joined our company with 30+ years in business and management skills in both large and small companies.  She has extensive knowledge in accounting, payroll, insurance audit services, and sales tax.

Karen owned her own company for 8 years and knows all the joys and challenges a small business owner may experience.  She is prepared to help any of J A McCoy’s clients with their day-to-day operations and enjoys site visits to our clients.  She is also a QuickBooks Pro Advisor. Karen is active with her church and is married with two children and loves spending time with her 2 grandchildren.

 

Susan C. Biodrowski
Office Administrative Assistant

Prior to joining J A McCoy, Susan owned a heating and cooling company for 14 years.  Her previous experience includes customer relations, scheduling high volume appointments, accounts payable, accounts receivable and small business tax issues.  We feel that her knowledge of small business ownership will be a great asset for any of J A McCoy clients.

Susan takes great pride in her organizational skills and has taken non-credit courses and seminars to enhance her office skills and accounting knowledge.  Susan is married with 3 children and enjoys camping and gardening.
